Delivery
fees depend on distance from headquarters. We will provide
a cooler and cold ice blocks for your convenience, if requested.
Food must be refrigerated within two (2) hours if left in
a cooler. Coolers are not a substitute for refrigeration,
but rather a temporary fix. Tru Meals drivers will pick-up
old coolers with each new delivery. Client accepts responsibility
to place old coolers outside for pick-up. We will charge you
$18.00 for each cooler we leave. Upon their return, we will
credit your account. You are welcome to leave your own cooler
if this fits your situation better. Tru Meals requires the
appropriate keys and or entry codes (kept confidential) and
will follow any reasonable instructions such as leaving your
order in a garage. Tru Meals is not responsible for any order
once it is delivered.
Shipping
For those outside our hand delivery area we ship overnight
to 98% of Texas for a
fee of $35 to $85 depending on the zip code. You will receive
your meals next
day to your home or office by 3:00 p.m. We will pack them
in a styrofoam cooler
with dry ice, place them in a cardboard box and rush them
to your door. Call our
headquarters to set this up.
Send food not flowers
Ideal for giving as a present to a student or elderly relative,
or simply send them to your vacation home. We recommend that
you order enough food (say $75) to balance the delivery cost
per meal. NOTE: Do not touch or eat the dry ice, toss right
from the cooler or let evaporate.
